Is my production data secure?+
Yes. Every table is protected by row-level security enforced in the database. One production house can never see another's books. All traffic is TLS-encrypted, data at rest is AES-256. We run on Supabase, SOC 2 Type II audited infrastructure, with daily backups and point-in-time recovery.
Can I run multiple films at once?+
Yes. Each film is a workspace, isolated at the database layer. Switch between them from the header, or give different films to different teams. The books never bleed.
Does it handle TDS and GST properly?+
Yes. TDS is calculated with correct 194C and 194J logic, the ₹30,000 single-payment and ₹1,00,000 annual thresholds are enforced automatically, and there's a full TDS register you can export. GST invoices are generated in-app with HSN codes, place of supply and org details pulled from your profile.
Can my CA and accountant access it?+
Yes. Custom roles scope access to one film. Your CA can view TDS and remuneration for a single project without seeing anything else. Owner, admin, accountant, CA and viewer roles are built in.
Is it only for Telugu films?+
It's built on Telugu sets, but the language of production. Schedules, batta, prep, strike, release orders, packages. Is the same across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada cinema. Cine Book works for all of South Indian production.
What if we're mid-shoot already?+
Common. Start with your current schedule, bring across the departments and contacts you're already using, and load closing balances as opening entries. You'll be running from Cine Book by the next call sheet.
